Helping Sick Children over the Holidays…

One of my favorite charities is St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Thanks and Giving is an annual holiday fund-raising campaign in which shoppers, celebrities and national corporate partners unite to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.

For example, Pottery Barn has a sticker in the window… a percentage of the proceeds from holiday shopping goes to the hospital that funds all children in need of medical service. The best thing about this charity is that no child is ever turned away… and that’s why it’s one of my favorites! Check the website for a list of participating partners.

Another amazing charity for kids is Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, founded by a mom inspired by her son’s fight against cancer. Ivanka Trump is a big supporter of this charity and recently held a bake sale to raise money for it…  and you don’t have to be celebrity to hold a bake sale!
